3 point parts list?

I'm looking to put a 3 point on my 140 or super A is there a basic parts list for where to get what is needed? I figure there is no reason for me to reinvent the wheel if there is already say lift arms of such and such length from agrisupply or this plate and that adjuster from ASAP and such.

If there is already a thread on this that I haven't found feel free to drop me a link to it. THANKS!

I don't have an answer to your specific question. What are you planning to use it for? Most 3-point hitches put together for those tractors don't work well, probably not at all for some implements. Details are in this thread from last month:

I have made 2 for a cub so I would think piecing one together for an SA would be relatively simple. They are great for a carry all, a rake or a boom...I have even done a snow plow on the front and a back blade on the back (I use the hand lift for the back). BUT as Jim says any implement that is sensitive to position does not work...at all. People smarter than m have the geometry figured out for 3 points.

I would use it for general purpose 3 point up and down use. Disc, boom pole, trailer hitch/drawbar, 2 row planter, cultivator. Basically everything except plowing or bush hogging and heavy draw bar jobs.

Thank you, I think I would get along ok with a pieced together 3 point as it would only be used for up and down like pick the disc up drive down the road put the disc down.

You would be okay with a boom pole and drawbar. The disc, planter, and cultivator are sensitive to correct geometry.

Unless I get it sold, I have some 3-pt parts that I am going to piece together one for my SA just for general use. The hard part is getting the geometry right on hitches. I made one for the cub then made some equipment for it. The landscape rake works good on it too.
Was going to put a 3-pt on the 140 but its on waterway mowing duty only so dont need one for that.
