I am looking for a used rim for a 154 - 184 - 185. All I really need is the hub, so the rim its self can be in any condition. If you should have one and you are in or near NW Ohio I would be interested.
Thank you.

Sorry the size I am looking for is the skinny 7" rim, not the wide one. Also looking for a good set of agro 9.5X24 tires.

I thought the rim and hub (center) were one assembly.
Technically they are. The hub is a separate stamped peice that is pressed into the rim and then it is spot welded in place. When you have a bad rim that is rusted out you can purchase a new rim, they are available as what is known as a (rim blank). You cut out the spot welds and salvage the hub. Then you place the hub in the new blank rim and weld it in. After a good paint job you now have a new wheel.

OK, I'm aware of the process, just didn't understand from your original post that you needed a center to install in a new rim blank. I have what is shown in my post but I'm a long way from NW OHIO!! (It's somewhat unusual to have to replace the center insert. Just curious about what's wrong with the one you have.) Stan

I am confused. I never said anything about replacing the center hub. I said I need a salvageable center hub so I could weld it into a NEW rim.
I was asking if anyone out there would happen to have an old wheel laying around that would have a salvageable hub that I could cut out of the old rusted out rim. If so I could make a good wheel out of it and make a matching set. I have one hub and a new rim so far. To make a new matching set I need one more hub.
Thanks.

OK I think what we have is a difference of terminology. As I understand the problem is you want a Wheel Assembly, rear (rim) IH part number 404 837 R1 so you can remove the center piece and install it on a new blank rim. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Stan

Yes that's the idea. I have one half way put together now. Need a 2nd hub for the other side.
Thanks.
