I’m finally getting a cub!! So, at church Sunday, I had a cousin come up to me and said she wanted me to have a particular cub that has been in our family since new in ‘53!! I’ve asked her about it several times over the past year and the answer was always ‘let me pray about it’. I recently had a relapse of my leukemia after being in remission for almost a year. The next step will be a bone marrow transplant. My cousin teaches nursing and knows what I’m about to go through and the long recovery involved. She said she felt led to give me the cub because she knew I would need something to keep me busy during my lengthy recovery. It needs some work but it’s solid and not locked up!! I need to do a few things before it will easily move but I hope to bring it home by the weekend, weather permitting! This will be a nice addition to the small ‘Farmall Fleet’ alongside my ’50 Super A!

Congratulations on your new to you Cub. Looks like it is equipped well. There should be some hoppers for the planter and side dresser laying around somewhere. Make sure to grab them.
On your journey with leukemia, I wish you well. This will certainly give you something to focus on besides your illness. Hope your recovery is swift and permanent.

It has been moved a few times and pillaged through a bit. No one knows where the hoppers or the belly planter are. I think I might know where they could be. Gonna do some investigating once she gets moved home. I was able to remove all the tools from the tool bars today and also jack it up and remove the wheels. The front tires were flat and rolled partially off the wheels. One tube held air but I have to replace the other and then remount the wheels before moving it. All that just about whooped me. I’m still drained from the last round of chemo!!
