I realize this thread is three years old, but after reading a few new posts about pto repairs lately, I thought it would be a good time to bring this one back for some of the new guys who may be interested. I thought it was a great tip when Ron first posted it and I still believe many of the folks here would benefit from his idea.

I told you that you guys are funny. And yes between the flash light the heat and humidity the sweat the empty stomach and the failed fix there were a few tears.
