New Treasure!!

Postby IH GIRL » Tue Jul 17, 2007 5:01 pm

We recently bought a load of items from a gentleman who hobbied in the parts. When putting away some of the part - all pretty common - I ran across a box with some writing on the outside. When I read it I thought NO WAY! Then I opened it and looked inside, there still in its original box was a brand NEW NOS Cub horn  Yes a cub horn. First one we have ever had - only seen one , an I believe that was on Mike Suchmudlach's cub :?: Just wanted to pass on our nice find, I guess you never know what is at the bottom of someone elses "junk" pile

Sounds like a rare find. 8) I didn't even know that a horn was offered.

If you want to throw it in my junk pile it will be accepted.

Would like to see one as well. Don't recall ever hearing anyone mention a Cub horn.

This is my best picture of Mike's '63 industrial. The horn is somewhat visible near the steering box.

It looks like a typical 1960's vintage automotive horn, most likely IH used existing inventory from the IH truck line. Excellent find!
