Navistar Free Gas Cap Offer - On-Line Form

Postby Rudi » Tue Mar 14, 2006 11:02 am

I just spoke with Brandon Kibe at Navistar International. I guarantee that this is the real skinny on the subject.

I have confirmed with him that the Navistar Free Gas Cap Replacement Program is coming to an end and that date is May 31, 2007.

If you have any questions, Brandon has asked that you email him at
brandon.kibe@na-international.com, and he will be pleased to assist you in any way possible.

Please make use of the on-line form at the links below.

I have secured permission to post on the forum and on the Cub Manual Server. It should be reflected in the next 24 hours or so.. as this is very important information.

Here is the links:

Important Information For International Harvester and Farmall Gasoline Fueled Tractor Owners

NOTE:

This is not spam, it is not phishing, it is not a scam. This is the real deal guys.... lets get to it!

Oh for those of us in Canada, Brandon will be talking to Anthony Wayne Services and they will ensure that NO DUTY will be due on the Caps... :!:  :? :D 8) 8) 8) 8)

Oh, just an aside. I got an email questioning if the paper form was still ok. The answer is an unequivocable yes! As long as the form is post-marked no later than 31 May, 20007 it will be honoured.

Brandon may log in to put to bed any serious concerns.

grasscutta:

ATTENTION: Please read before filling out the form below!

Fill in all the fields in order to be eligible to receive a cap.
Gas caps are available for United States and Canadian tractor owners only.
Allow 6-8 weeks for shipment of your cap.
This program is NOT for Diesel Tractors.

All tractors in this program use the same gas cap.
The Model information must be provided to receive a cap.
You will be notified if you are not eligible for a free gas cap.
Gas caps CANNOT be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
Note:
After 5/31/2007 you will be able to purchase a replacement gas cap from your local CASE IH® parts distributor.

So, you need a Canadian or US address..

Rudi: One line of your post says that caps cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. I have ordered several times, have used my P.O. box as my shipping address and have always received the caps. Just wondering what this means. Dan

Dan:

Just means that who ever typed it up, may not have been aware or the policy has been changed.

Email Brandon and he can clarify it. although, I think what they do is in the US and Canada they are shiped UPS and them-to-your-door delivery and they require signatures...

At one time the caps were coming UPS, which will not deliver to a post office box. the last ones I got though came parcel post, which can be delivered to a post office box.

Outside US or POBoxes

Postby CornBinder » Sat Mar 18, 2006 7:47 pm

Hey all,

If you are outside the US or have a po box, I can accommodate you. I try to discourage the use of PO boxes though.

Rudi,
I have just ordered gas caps for my latest "acquisitions". And I wanted to thank you for all the things that you do for us, and we all realize that you don't have to do all these things. You do them because you are a good person and you enjoy helping others. It comes through "lima charley"! At times when I'm "up to my armpits in alligators" (which is often), I can refer to your compilation of info, hints, articles, etc. I just wanted say "Thank you!" out loud.

Mac:

Send for ALL of em. This is the last chance and you may as well have the new style caps. Sure is a lot safer.

How many Cubs and other Letter Series tractors do you have? Grab the serial numbers and fill out the on-line web form.

Remember to add this though ok to the request.

Please on the CN-22 Customs Declaration Form
Indicate that these are FREE Gas Caps and they have NO Value for Customs
Please indicate $0.00 on the declaration form..
