1450 hydro input shaft flange falling off

Postby Radec Aksarben » Sun May 24, 2020 3:27 pm

Anybody have the flange on the input shaft to the hydro try to fall off? Terrible vibrations so stopped to look. The flange is rotated about the shear bolt. I have a picture on my phone but it is too large to upload....

Looks like I lost one Of the rag joint bolts. I will have to look closer tomorrow to try to see if that's all that happened. I suppose all that shaking isn't good for motor mounts.

I'll bet that one of the bolts came out of the drive shaft, and everything rotated on the other bolt. Not a big deal, just line everything back up and throw another bolt and lock nut on it.

That’s what happened to my cc 129 to the PO. She spit out the complete drive shaft. I swapped the 12 hp into my 108 that has acreeper.
