Planted Yesterday with my 184 planter

Postby CSA_CUB » Sun Mar 17, 2019 12:11 pm

Enjoyed The early spring day yesterday! Setup the Cub with 144 cultivators, 101A fertilizer unit, and a fast hitch 184 planter. I set out and planted bicolor corn and sweet peas. Only issue was figuring out the depth adjustment on the 184 and still after several years try to figure out how to control the rear sweeps on the 144 cultivators.

Would love to see y’all again. Be nice if there was a Va Cubfest. Whose palm do we need to grease or chain to pull to get it started again? Think Dale has pull around there to get it started up again?

If I wanted to do any plowing in my garden right now, I'd have to use a snow plow.

Here in south Mississippi, we don't know what "snow" is... Once every couple of years or so we might get an inch or 2 of that white stuff, and ppl around here FREAK OUT as they don't know what to do... NOR do they know how to drive in it so most stay in an hr or two till it melts LOL....

I was flying into New Orleans one day, and was told that "the white stuff on the ground was what the locals called GRITS"!

Snowed more than an inch, and auto traffic at the airport was restricted...taxis only went to ONE hotel destination downtown...what a mess! :|

Here in south Mississippi, we don't know what "snow" is . .

Here is an explanation of what it is with a southern perspective.
