Possible 108 Purchase

Postby T-Mo » Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:58 am

I may go look at this 108. The original 10 hp has been replaced by a 12 hp Kohler per the seller. I usually have narrow frames, so this might be a departure for me in that regard. Price seems good. The seller said it hasn't run in a year, so possible fuel related issues might be present.

I'm going to go look at it Saturday. I would have last night, but he got home too late for me to go look at it and then get home (I get up at 3 am to go to work). I kind of wish it was a 104 since I had a lot of those when I had Cub Cadets a few years ago.

Every used cc needed a head gasket. That’s a new replacement 12hp. I have two cc with a replacement engine.one 70cc with a 8hp and a 122 with a 12hp. My 104 cc with the orginal engine still has the honing marks in the bore.
