Project 1650

Postby wagonmaster » Wed Oct 03, 2018 8:29 pm

Well it looks like another project landed on my trailer and followed me home. I have been passing by this 1650 for a wile now ware it was pushed back in the weeds a couple years ago . The other day I saw a guy splitting wood a few feet away from it so I stopped and looked at it. He said it belonged to his nephew then texted my name and number to him. It's been a couple years since it ran but I'll figure it out. I really didn't think that with all the stuff with it [ 44 inch deck, tiller, snow blower, a couple good spare spindles with blades and a snow blade off some other brand tractor] that I would be able to buy it at a reasonable price. He called and asked if I would give $100 for it all and I saw no reason to try to talk him down any. Done deal. I hope to get a chance to work on it this winter.

You hit the motherload at a that price. And as Ricky stated, we NEED pictures.

Yes, I was expecting him to want much more. I hope to learn how to send pictures this winter. I am not to skilled with this internet thing. So far all I have done to it is blow the crud off it and remove the 44inch deck, witch looks to be in vary good condition for its age although the spindles sound dry when I spin them. I will update but for now it goes into the land of future projects until maybe January.
