Thanks everyone. If I had not turned to the left, ( had enough room kept it in my lane) we would have hit them right behind the right rear like a T bone. That would have hurt. I turned left plus locked up the brakes. It tore the right fender. Got into the hood & bumper. The park rangers radioed their maintenance department they needed zip ties & tin snipes. The guy that turned in front of us said he had sockets to remove some parts to get us back on the road. Well let me say we look like we need to be in a nascar truck race. This morning I bought a amber bulb to have front turn signal on that side plus bought some extra zip ties. Ill send Barnyard the pictures to post. We are still on the road. We have had a good trip so far despite the mishap.

Glad to hear it wasn't more serious - good job on minimizing the impact! I was thinking it still looked drivable - that's just washer fluid on the ground? Enjoy the rest of your trip and be careful!

John
