Storing stuff in the barn...

..just got easier. A while back I mentioned the great deal I got on a truckload of wheel casters. Well several years ago I saw a craigslist for some used 14 foot 2x6's that had been used only once as concrete forms. The seller had just over 20 or so of them for $40.00 so I snatched them up. These have been stored in BOB since then. Today I decided I needed an easier way to move so much of the implements and such in that barn. I cut each board into two 4 footers and 2 three footers. This made a perfect 3 foot by 4 foor frame. I then attached four casters to each.


After a total cost of $4 for casters, about $2 per 14' board and another $2 per frame for nuts and bolts I ended with about $8 invested in a nice little cart to sey "stuff" on to easy move out of the way. Not pretty, but useful as heck.

You can't touch anything this heavy duty at the big box stores.

Barnyard, I was going to build one like that to allow me to roll the belly mower out from under the SA. Looks good!

It is great how it all came together that way. Those are really nice rolling platforms. It is also great that one could support the rest, when not in service.

As we look ahead to old age my plan was to have a tractor for each attachment. No changing attachments. Three 154’s, one fcub and six cub cadets would do it
