Farmall 130 Steering Gear Housing

Postby Krackerjacks » Fri Jul 13, 2018 7:23 pm

Changing the lubricant in the housing. I think I have located the drain plug and the fill plug. What is the proper amount of 90W gear lubricant? I don't see an oil level plug. I can't seem to find a diagram with instructions. Thanks for any help.

Level plug is on the back of the steering box, you should be looking at it when sitting in the seat. Fill 'till oil comes out of it. Here's an "upside down" view of the filler plug and the level plug. http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/downlo ... &mode=view

Thanks for the reply. I'm not able to post pictures yet, but mine has no plug on the side facing the seat.
