Bitterness

Postby Shane Nelson » Tue Jun 12, 2018 9:09 am

Being bitter toward someone is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies.

Our preacher said this Sunday. It's so true. Life is too short to be bitter and have hatred, jealously, etc. Be happy and enjoy other people even though you may not get along with them or share their same beliefs.

We have a great preacher. He preaches from the Word and doesn't alter it to make someone feel better. He will step on your toes and when that happens it's the truth that hurts you, not him. You can be sitting in the pew and it feels like it's only you and him in the assembly.
