I have a 400 positive ground one wire alternator. I would like to see if anyone has a drawing of one with a voltage regulator and amp gauge wired in?

Your one wire alternator should have a voltage regulator built into it. Wire from it to the amp gauge, other side of amp gauge to battery. If it shows discharge reverse the wires on the amp gauge.

Are you sure you have a positive ground alternator? They exist but are unusual. Hooking up an alternator backwards can damage it. So be sure before you hook it up!
