154 or 185?

Postby sprintcar75 » Thu May 11, 2006 7:40 pm

Was wondering the diffrence between the 154 and 185 lowboys? Only thing i can find is the carb. I have what i thought was a 154 but it has the zenith carb. I dont have the serial # as the tag is missing,is that # also stamped on the frame somewhere?

thanks for the info

Jason

I read that the governor was different offering higher RPM's on the 185.
The PTO clutch is also improved on the 185 vs. 154.
There is a Yahoo users group for 154/185 Loboys with lots of info.
