OH, by the way, if anybody needs a bent nail that can be straightened and reused, I've got a jillion of them!!!
Growing up in DownEast Maine, I didn't see a "virgin" nail until I was in my late twenties

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Apparently so.
Don't laugh TOO hard, but I've got a bunch of co-workers who don't own tools. One of them, the other day, says to me that he needs to buy some tools, so I ask why. He says, well my wife and I are looking at buying a house but we can't afford anything that doesn't need a little work on it, and the only tool we own is *her* hammer...
Not even a SCREWDRIVER!

Bev bought a used waffle Iron at a Church Bazar when we first got married in 1955. The top didn't heat any more so I took it apart and replaced the broken wire. Couldn't get asbestos insolated so I used a fibreglass sleeve over bare wire from zip cord. Has to have been 15 years age. You didn't think I was going to throw out a 50 cent waffle Iron did you?
