Restored and Restoring

Postby W6NZ » Wed Jan 04, 2006 11:21 pm

The far left is an FC-C in restoration mode; this end is a 1947 Cub stripped down and being worked on. In the middle is an A, Super A, plus the W6. I've just lined them up for the photo shoot tomorrow for the local news on our vintage haymaking day.

What is an FC-C??

It looks much smaller than an A, or is that just a trick of convergence?

It's a French made Super C. Has a Super A motor, the american C superseded the Farmall B, then the French built the Super FC-C, mostly with American components, altho the motor does vary a bit inside to the American C. It stands bigger than the A.

Jostev, don't forget some pics, I'd like to put the W6 on the baler but my mate hasn't long restored the BMD and baler so he's dying to try it out. Maybe I'll get the chance to do a few rounds. 8)
