lost tools at va fest

Postby Boss Hog » Sat May 03, 2014 8:29 pm

Did anyone by mistake put an 8 inch crescent wrench or a 10 inch crescent wrench or a large brass drift or a pair of blue handle dikes in their tool box by mistake?
Many thanks Boss

Boss, I'll double check my tool box tomorrow when I go to the farm to do some mowing...but all my tools have yellow tape on them. I will let you know...good luck!

Boss
I checked my tool box and they are not there. I like Dale's idea of putting colored tape on her wrenches. I may have to try that.

The last I saw , the brass drift was being used to drive out the bearings in the transmision rebuild and I belive the dikes were used on the ignition switch wire for the 6 to 12 volt conversion. This might help jog sombodies memmory. Not sure about the crescent wrenches.

The punch "disappeared" from the tranny job, while we were at lunch. Needed it again, and had to make do with another punch.

The easy way to find them is to go out and buy new ones.
