Michael,

I have seen Cub peddle tractors at various shows, I am not aware of who made them or what they go for. They have been discussed a few times on the forum, I found this one thread that showed the ones I saw at La Porte Red Power Roundup in 2010.

Perhaps someone else can shed a little more light on them.

I found a ih pedal tractor with trailer in brand new condition for $75 @ barn sale. I wonder I'd cub decals fit it.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Bill,

I suspect not, I had some reproduced to a smaller scale from a friend who was in the sign business.

I found a Scale Model pedal tractor that had been thrown in an old farmhouse dump while I was pheasant hunting probably 15 years ago. I had it sandblasted and it sat for years, until the grandkids started appearing. It was in rough shape other than the cast main body but I was able to get new wheels, pedals, chain, seat, pretty much all but the cast body… By the time I was done I could have easily purchased one of those new Cub pedal tractors…. But where’s the fun in that! I painted it 2150 red and added mock lights, muffler and radiator and air cleaner caps.

They all love to ride it and it sure puts a smile on my face!

Those are my photos that CUBHUT posted. Those tractors were not cheap when introduced, I believe around a grand. I have only seen one sell I believe and it was around $1500. The pedal via a rocking motion being the pedals are on one side only.

No problem, I didn't want credit, I haven't seen those pictures in a few years and would have posted them myself, but thankfully you beat me to it.

Mine is a IH big tractor in a mini pedal tractor with trailer. The seams are still on the tires. Since my 4/yo grandson has moved to dirt bikes and quads I'm not sure how much use the tractor will get but he still rides it.
