Interesting night

Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Thu Apr 03, 2014 10:33 am

Started raining about 4:30am, and by 7:30am we had 2.5 inches of rain and a little wind. Nothing to bad in this area, but the people in University city in St. Louis County were not so lucky. a tornado hit there, and lots of damage along with power outages. No reports of injuries so far though, which is good. Buildings can be rebuilt and cars replaced, but people are another story.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Acreage neighbors collected 8" of rain in rain gauges in last 48 hours.

Low water crossing culverts are plugged. Tomorrow, Saturday, have to dig out the culverts and then regrade the drive ways. Gravel has washed off the drives, leaving ditches in the road way.

Both son and I have water seepage in basement.

Have a roof leak in house when raining and high wind from the west. Only time the roof leaks. Gonna investigate this weekend.
I have an excuse. CRS.
