generator rebuild

Postby WJ » Thu Oct 20, 2005 6:21 pm

I have seen tutorials on rebuilding carbs, magnetos, fuel shut off's and differnent things here, but has anyone done a 6v generator rebuild?

I have done a search and haven't found anything. If there is one here I would like to see it.

Thanks for any help.

If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

Generator, Rudi, generator! WJ wants generator rebuild, not governor.

Don't sweat it, Rudi, because it's usually me muddled in confusion!

Another resource for generator rebuilding generators

Since most of the generators are Delco Remy's, I found this site helpful and fun.
