Yup, they stud them, fun to watch ice racing, the bad part is when they run over you with those studs

I've ridden motorcycles with studded tires and the traction is amazing!! In fact it's the most predictable traction I've ever experienced. The only problem I ever had was it was just waaaaay to cold to ride for very long. Image
