Tom, I have a Cub that needs to be run hard to hopefully open it up some. I am bringing it down with a 193 plow with the intention of plowing as much as possible with it. Your wife is more than welcome to take as many spins around the field as she'd like.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Does anyone have a tap that I could borrow to clean up the treads in a cub manifold?

I sure would appreciate it. I looked in town yesterday considering purchasing my own and I was not able to find one.

Bob

KNEW I was forgetting something...YES reline two toggle brakes. I do have them loaded. Hard to keep track of so many projects, and I hope you will forgive me. I am excited about getting these done so I can reassemble Ben, my second '55. Almost all the parts are now painted...the tank and grill plus a few other things!

Oh, and I accidentally painted the rims RED!!! I was thinking it would be easier to go ahead and paint them while attached to the centers...well, DUH!!! What was I thinking??! Oh well, now it has a nice base coat for the silver, right?! Anyway, I thank everyone for helping me accomplish so much to get closer to the final goal!

Papa's Cub wrote:Mr. E , I'm not bringing anything to be worked on, but, I'd like to watch or assist someone adjust a governor linkage assy. and I'd also like to observe / assist a cub getting new brake bands. I've read quite a few post lately on clutch adjustment / replacement and if possible I'd like to observe this as well. And last but not least, My wife wants to plow a few rounds using a 193 plow. We're excited about our first "Cubfest" and are really looking forward to the fellowship. Thanks, Tom aka Papa's Cub.

Tom,
Looks like there will be a lot of projects going on. You are invited to "jump in" to any and all the projects and get some hands on or simply observe and ask questions. As to the governor linkage adjustment, just ask someone to grab a cub and show you how to adjust the linkage. Billy Ray will be orchestrating the projects in the shop and Raymond will be the acting Shop Foreman for the projects. There will be several folks that can show you most anything you wish to see done.

Looking forward to seeing you guys this week.
