Newbie from MO

Postby Brutalfly » Mon Jan 20, 2014 2:10 pm

I am a newbie to the owning a tractor and a newbie at trying to fix things that are wrong with engines etc but with what we want to do (pumpkin patch the size of a basketball court, a descent size vegetable garden) I thought a Farmall Cub could be a descent tractor to start with.

I like to be out doors and my kids love tractors and we want to be more self efficient when it comes to gardening and other things on our property.

This place seems like it could be a wealth of knowledge so I had to join!

Welcome to the forum. I didn't know the first thing about my first Cub. Thanks to the good folks here, I know my way around a Cub fairly good. I still ask questions, and get the right answer every time.

Welcome, neighbor. Your zip puts you between Chapel Hill and Bates City (about 5 miles from me). Always nice to see another Missouri boy join the ranks. :D

Be sure to check out the Manuals section (both PDFs and Rudi's Manual Server). Also take a look at the Cubfest schedule for 2014 and make plans to attend at least one: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=81945

Let us know your questions and we'll help out the best we can.
