Sittin' in the dark!

Postby Barnyard » Tue Dec 03, 2013 8:06 pm

Power has been out for about an hour and a half. Fire department across the road said farm tractor hit pole about a mile away. A huge combine with a corn head went passed the house just after dark about ten minutes before power went out. Not much getting done around the barnyard tonight.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bill, Put on your head lamp and string some more lights. The news reported some guy had set a new Guiness record with 502,000. They didn't count them, but went through his purchase receipts.

That is 10 times what I plan to put up. Power is now back on.

Bill, perhaps you should turn your lights on in zones to reduce the possibility of another outage!

As soon as the power went out the firemen came out and manually opened their doors so the trucks could get out in a hurry if needed (no backup generator). One of them yelled across the street and blamed me.
