How do you keep thieves away from your back yard?
Leave one hanging in the front yard.

When people see my cat out in the yard practicing, they tend not to come back. And they do not ask what he is covering when they see him scratching in the dirt.

Our three adult Border Collies protect our barnyard in many different ways.

Here is Bandit showing our newest pup, Gus, how to zero in on an intruder near the western fence line.
Gus is a photo hound and enjoys waving to the camera.

Here I am teaching Dozer how to drive the golf cart so he can patrol the fence along the park property and fetch firewood.

This is Bandit and Flash practicing paw-to-paw combat in hazardous weather conditions.

Flash uses her beautiful blue eyes to hypnotize intruders making it easier for Bandit and Dozer to move in for the attack.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
