Mini-chat question

Postby Bob McCarty » Wed Oct 23, 2013 7:35 pm

So I scrolled to the bottom and it says I'm on the mini-chat. I didn't do that intentionally and now don't see how to log off.

Thanks, Bob

Edit: I'm not listed as in the chat room now, but still have the question.

There is no way to log off of the chat. anytime you are logged on, and on the main page you have access to it. Who is chatting is based on activity in the last 10 minutes. I do not see where you posted anything on it, so not sure why you see yourself as chatting, I do not see anyone there at present. If you click on the Mini-Chat button, it will show you chatting even if you say nothing, but you will drop off after 10 minutes.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Thanks John, I didn't know about the 10 minute log off.

Not actually a log off, it just no longer shows you as chatting. When you enter the forum you are also logged into the chat.

If you simply click in the dialogue box or click the link to see who is in chat, the software detects your userid and records that you looked at the chat .. and it will stay that way until the time has expired provided you don't post anything or scroll. It was one of those things that got me curiosity when it first came on line.
