Moving Heavy Stuff With a Cub-PICS!

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Sun Sep 29, 2013 8:42 pm

I found this huge Maple crook stump and brought it home in the truck. It took me over an hour to 'winch' it up a ramp into the truck using 2" wide ratcheting tiedown straps. I have a landscape use for it in my backyard. I dropped it off the tailgate onto the ground, and then used the loboy to move it to the backyard spot where it will live. I have no idea how heavy it is, but the tree was just cut down a month ago, and I barely had any steering while it was hanging there off the back.

That stump sure would make some interesting table tops  :!: So... and what landscaping use would that be?

I'm going to set it up in the backyard, level off the two "Y"'s and put a birdbath on one side, dunno what on the other one yet!
