Cub Crop Dusters

Postby tst » Fri Sep 27, 2013 8:07 am

Thought I would post a couple pics of these as they are rare and almost never seen out there, these are Messinger Crop Dusters, they were made into the later 50's until the company closed up, these bolted in place of the draw bar on the cub, it used a right angle drive with a mower pulley to run it, these are different styles I have, one you adjust the "cans" to where you want the fertilizer to blow and the other has what looks like a vacuum cleaner nozzles on it and you point them where the dust comes out, they are in great shape except for the metal flex hoses, thought you might enjoy the pics, sorry I did not have time to mount them on a cub for the pictures

There are a whole raft of implements for Cubs both IH and OEM. This is one of the rarer ones. I don't think we have seen one before aside from the Brochure that Tom and Lynn have on their server. Tim's unit is pretty cool looking .. I like it. Not sure how useful it would be .. I guess if you have a tater farm or a truck farm with a few acres this would be useful if you aren't organic gardening.
