Rosie and I just got in to the barnyard. Bud and Joyce Sottong along with Steve Buttram did an excellent job with their CubFest this year and we can't thank them enough. I counted thirty people in the barn at one time with a few others roaming around. Everybody had a great time despite the little rain on Saturday. If you couldn't make it you sure missed a lot of fun. It was great to meet several new forum members this year. Hopefully they will make it to more fests in the future and continue to follow the forum.

A personal thanks to Steve, Gary Dotson, Jeff Silvey and Bill Darr, I learned quite a few things this year and I intend to put that knowledge to good use. It just goes to show that you can go to all the CubFests in the world and still come home with a few new tips.

Photos will follow this evening.

I just have to chime in and thank all of the folks for such a warm welcome to my first cubfest. I learned a lot in a short time and got fed a great (unexpected) meal.
Thanks
Ron

Ron, it was great meeting you this weekend. Now that you have temporarily relocated from Florida to Ohio I notice you are about 15 minutes from Bill Darr who you might have met this weekend.

Thanks Bill I hope everyone had a good time. Unfortunately we didn't get to plow this year due to the weather Mother Nature saw fit to inundate us with about 2 inches of rain on Thursday morning and Friday afternoon. We found out one of our members was s good Tool Boy  Thanks Jeff you are a great friend.

Unfortunately I didn't get to count the tractors that attended we had a great display, worked on 4 transmissions including 1 complete split, a carb or 2 and a couple cub Cadets. Dynoed 3 cubs and heard 1 BOOM  If you had never seen Modified serial number Cub it was quite nice looking cub

Thanks to the Suttong Family Bud ,Joyce, Bill and Neil for their hospitality and opening up their farm this year.

Thanks to Barnyard, Gary Dotson for their support we couldn't have done it without you

Also special thanks to all the women for there behind the scenes work to keep us fed.

Thanks David Grapes for the donation sorry for the late request.

Thanks to everyone who attended.

Steve

We had a great time at the C I fest, as always! Bud & Joyce are always very gracious hosts who always make everyone feel welcome at the farm. A very nice setting for a Cubfest! A great job by Steve, as co-host as well. I too, was happy to see & meet several new attendees this year, most of them impressed with what a Cubfest is all about. I hope to see more of them!

OK... for those of us who were not able to attend, can you elaborate on the embarrassing "boom"???

Let's just say a Cub radiator can make an awful loud noise when they are under a lot of pressure on the dyno. I think Jeff was doing some video but not sure if he caught it.
