Ok Beat This For Stupid - I Dare You!
Since 1998 - I traveled by air or ground close to 5,000,000 miles. Today 16-Sept-13, I pulled the biggest FUBAR of all time. Awakened at 4:50 AM - I set myself for a week of business in New Jersey. All was set the night before. PC, Luggage - etc. In the morning on goes the coffee - and to ensure the Air Compressor is off and the shop locked - I exit the house through the garage - NOT through the FRONT DOOR as usual.
I drive 152 miles to my client,,,,,,,,,,,Get out of the seat open the back door of my truck to recall that I've my laptop and suitcase home.
So I held a meeting - admitting my failure - left the meeting and 304 non-billable hours later I am back in NJ. I'd rather be home working on my FCUB.
Today was the pits.

I don't know Ken. You must really be frazzled by this - you posted the same thing three (3) times!
You need to lay off the coffee.

Re: Ok Beat This For Stupid - I Dare You!
I once flew to Algeria in a suit and tie for an official Gov't trip, flew out in uniform. Next stop was Slovenia and on the flight out of there, needed to wear the suit again, but problem was I left it in the Algerian hotel hanging up nicely on a hanger!
Had to go downtown Ljubljana and buy a new suit off the rack, luckily it fit like a glove, and really ended up nicer than the one I left in Algers.

Ken, yep when I saw the three posts I figured you were still a tad flustered!
I think we all know where your mind was when you were leaving. :wink
Hey, if you can find the humor in your mishaps, learn a little and move on, life is much easier!

This is so Odd - I have no clue how my original post got out there 3 times. I only typed it once - but I did edit a typo's twice. Seems like those edits created duplicate posts.
Anyhow today is a new day. Hope you all have a great day.

How many times did you click on submit until it posted? When the system is slow it will not process the post right away so a poster thinks it didn't go through and clicks on submit again and sometimes a third time. What they are actually doing is resubmitting it. When it finally goes through they will have a post for each time they clicked submit.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

That issue can be solved by 10:00AM! UPS Red to the rescue!
I have left my laptop at home, and lost my wallet during travel, (makes it really hard to rent a hotel or car) but never forgot the clothes. You win the prize!
Better days are ahead!

It could be the case - that due to the hotel network and in consideration that I was totally fried by the time I got around the Cub forum I suppose anything is possible. Today is a new day - No Triple Posts today - Ken

Don't worry it could be much worse. We had a gentleman in town that was known for being absent minded. One time he took his wife into Columbus, which is about an hour away. He didn't realize until he was sitting at home and the phone rang that he had drove off and forgotten his wife
