Hello,
There was a thread about finding replacement tires for a 154 Cub LoBoy. None of the answers really solved the issue. Now my 13.6 x 16 Turf tires are in good shape and I probably won't need to replace them for a while ( like the original poster said), but in the case I do, what are my options? The original poster talked about using off road car mud tires as replacements and I've checked into that somewhat. I think as far as size goes, they would work. However, I'm wondering if anyone out there has done this before and if so, how did they work out !!!! I've searched the web and really can't find any tires other than turf tires in that size, not R4 type or Ag type. I would think that this would be an important issue to anyone that owns a 1969 or newer 154...plus 184 's and 185's !!!!!

You can use the hub and rim from a standard Cub if you want ag type tires on yout numbered low-boy.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I've bought new balloon turf tires for one of my 154s. It was expensive, they only came in 10 ply, but they are available.
If I wanted to swap out my balloon tires for Ag tires, what Eugene said is what I'd do, and probably end up cheaper than the new balloon tires as well.

I can't get the pic to load, but if you look in the tractor pic file on here, there is a great pic of a 184 in Colorado with a Firestone I-3 directional lug tire in 13.5 x 16.1. It also shows on the Firestone ag tire site.

My 185 has tall skinny standard tires on the first one I bought and I will swap them to the one I use most! I don't use the non standard stuff because it looks stupid on the mower! Thanks; sonny

Over on the 154cub loboy site there are pics there of the 13.6 x 16" firestone AG tires and they look awesome.
I have the farmall cub rim centers I'm going to adapt the 10" wide x 24" rims to mount the 11.9 x 24" AG tires on my 154 fel/ backhoe project and I have the 650 x 10" 3 rib tires for the front.

I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
