McCormick Deering 100 manure spreader

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

McCormick Deering 100 manure spreader

Postby Curtis » Mon Sep 09, 2013 12:16 pm

I am restoring a McCormick Deering 100 manure spreader to go along with my '48 cub. I am looking for the dimensions of the box, I have been told that the box is wider at the rear.
Thanks

35 1/4" front and 36 1/2" rear.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thank you Barnyard, this project was so far gone I had to "guess" a little, but the rear is dead on your measurements and the front is within a 1/4".

I'm looking for the double sprocket Part # 3334- SA for a Model 100. Anyone know where to find one? Also, does anyone know how many teeth are supposed to be on the inner sprocket?

Welcome to the Forum.

Did you mean part #3343-SA on page 21 of the Parts Manual?

The only place I know where to find parts would be buying another No. 100 and using it for parts...
