Coming back to life !!! Video added

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

I captured a video of it before the 'restore', dang thing is cool! Ethan (grandson) was pointing at it when it got a bit hung up with the head way back, as if to report a problem with the cow. Obviously you fixed that little problem.

Have fun at the big fair!

Thanks for the compliments. The best thing of all was watching the kids at the Fair when they were watching it !

She's back in the barn now. Who knows where she'll show up next !

Guess I missed the big Westport Fair?? Sure glad you were able to amuse the little (and big) people there. I sure know I was taken with the 'upright bovine'.

Well she's back in the barn, now, that was enough excitement for a while.

Her dress is all folded up and put away till the next Fair.

No bull??? I don't think it's a cow, or even a heifer judging by the naked legs...

Bob:

What is that neat grille behind the half cow/half biped? 1 on the left then the 1 on the right?

Ahhh good eye. On the left a 1945 Chevy 1-ton dual rear wheel truck. Started its life with Cherry Valley NY Fire Dept. then later I came along, about 30 years ago, cut off the fire body and made me a nice flatbed out of oak. Now on my list of things to do, to get a 6 volt battery and put some gas in her and get her outta the barn for a while. Low mileage and runs super!

On the right a '46 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup. Ran great but nobody's run it for 11 years. Belongs to son Andy, he bought it when he was 14 ! Now that he's out of the USAF, I hope he gets it going again soon.

2-3 times a year I make the rounds with a 60 cc syringe full of Mystery Oil, so they shouldn't have any problems.

Bob:

Excellent :D I thought I recognized it but thought .. no way, not possible. Looks like a Maple Leaf .. but of course it would because GM built them for our market - GMC's were not sold here until the '60's. Very nice truck. The '46 Dodge ain't too shabby either.

They don't build em to look cool anymore. All boxy. These ones had style :!:
