Used cars in Japan are frequently sent to Russia and sold very cheaply. People making money off the process do not want to spend a fortune on enclosed shipping containers or roll on, roll off car transport. So, they rent spaces on the top deck of regular cargo ships and strap the cars down.
I can't confirm for sure. But, I don't think there will be any Cubs coming from overseas. By whatever means you plan on transporting you cub to the tug be sure to take some time and strap it down. I don't believe I could have been the camera man on this trip

Demolition Derby without the driver. They might as well sale on to China and drop off the next load of soup can candidates.
I thought about just parking mine on the roof of the motor home and leave the trailer home.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I wonder if there were any left when they docked...You can see a few going overboard...particularly at 5:08.

Dave, One of the comments said they started out with 64 and lost 52 on the trip. Several of the vehicles looked like they had both front and rear tires turning, not in gear or parking brake engaged. Hope they weren't presold.
