I was thinking about going Saturday if it's not raining. With all the rain we have had I might need to bring my kayak, though!! Too much going on to bring a tractor.

When were you planning on being there? I've always had a good time at Denton!!

Don't know yet I I can make it or not. Would love to bring Ethan, but he would get bored with some of the things I would like.

Might try to get there Saturday. I am at White Lake this week for a FFA conference but if I can get home in time on Friday to get the chores done I might try to go.

Just call me old tightwad but $14.00 to get in the gate and it's about the same tractors every year and the vendors have been priced out of business a few still sell but not as many as in the earlier years.i used to go to enjoy the music but nothing interest me this year.

Actually I just might end up having to work out at the farm Saturday...too good a time to do some needed burning. We'll see...

I'm with Jim, not enough good entertainment for the money. Several years ago I saw Riders in the sky, well worth the admission price. Really bummed that I didn't get to see Suzy Bogguss. Wife decided to pull corn that day :(

It's Denton. It's supposed to be over-priced and blistering hot. If it wasn't it wouldn't be Denton! Besides why would I drive halfway across the state to see singers that were popular 20 years ago? ;)

Sweethearts of the Rodeo, just saw them on Larry's Country Diner. Saw Ronnie Stoneman from Hee-Haw in 2003.
