mud!

Postby ScottyD'sdad » Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:36 pm

Got 2 1/2 inches of rain, last night, on top of Friday's 5 1/2 inches. 2 month's supply, in a week, and it's not over, yet. More rain, forecast, most of the week! Anyone have plans for webbed feet, for a cub? Want to cultivate, before I leave for Red Power, but it doesn't look possible. afraid to look, when I get back! Also, does it mean, no rain, next month? We have had about 5" of rain also, today is cloudy and sunny back and forth, but i don't think it willrain today. Thursday is supposed to be a rainy day for us. I'm trying to get the yard mowed and as soon as possible plant the rest of the garden. Good luck Ed and I hope you enjoy Red Power.

We got swamped again today! Not much at work, but when I was heading up the hill to home water was over the road in places where it only happen in extreme conditions. Another quick 1.5 inches. I walked out back to check the ditches and it was impossible to walk over the tilled area. I did not plant anything this year due to estate obligations upon the passing of my mother. Glad I didn't as I have not even had time to mow the orchard before this total saturation.

Another 2 1/2 inches, overnight. Anyone have any fish seeds I can have? 11 1/4 inches, since last Friday. A cub with webbed feet, would be handy, too. I was hoping to cultivate, before heading to Red Power, but that won't be happening! Ed

It is amazing. We got about the same here but did not get the 5 inches from that tropical system. Only a foot of rain since mid-May. Strawberries the size of watermelons have been reported..

Bob, you'd be the first to complain,if there's no sweet corn! (Well, second, I'd be first)

Planted some corn,in the mud, today, because I'll be at Red Power, for a week, and had to get it in, So the guy in Dartmouth won't starve, this summer! Ed
