Hello from S.C.

Postby skeeter » Sun May 26, 2013 9:16 am

Would like to say hi to everyone. I live in South Carolina and own a Farmal Super A 1953 according to the serial # match. I enjoy gardening with it and also plant a few deer plots with it also. I have a 1954, 184 international planter that I saved from the scrap yard (bought it out the back of a pickup at a gas station headed down to the junk yard) that I use to plant with. Took a lot of work to repair it but it was well worth the effort. It is an awesome combination. Look forward to the questions and answers and hope I can be of some help. Thanks again, for allowing me to be here. :D

I'm about two hours from Charlotte, I think, just depends on how much traffic is on the interstate and how much work is being done on the road.

Come on up to the VA Cubfest this next weekend...Boss Hog puts on a good one with lots of friendly folk! :D I know we can always use an extra hand with some of the projects. I will be doing a rear split of my '52 cub, as well as getting help from Boss and others diagnosing an engine problem...actually an engine failure!! :(

I live in Simpsonville, but the farm and tractors are in Cades, not too far up the road from you.
