Hello,
I recently brought home a 154 and am eager to get going with it. It had a 222 Sickle bar on it which I removed today and I am in the process of trying to put my finish mower on it. I purchased a Woods 59C-2 from a guy who told me he used it on his 154. I am no stranger to mechanics, but I don't see how it can fit...Is that right? I am trying to figure out how to mount the idler pulley frame and it is too wide for anything I can find on the tractor to mount it too. Do any of you guys know about these mowers and their combination with a 154? This mower does have the long single arm off the back of it (in the middle) which goes back to the frame I am trying to mount.
It came with several arms, chains, pins and brackets, but no directions...
Any help is appreciated. Thank you,

Here's a link to the manual: http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/OEM%20 ... 0Mower.htm They show it mounting on a regular Cub, and I don't know much about 154's. Welcome to the Forum, someone should be along to give you a better answer.

A manual for the mower mounted on a 154 shows up on in the manuals, "above", and also on web search. However the link is broken.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Woods Mower Deck and my 154
As I mentioned in the other thread ....
The manuals that I have for the Woods 59-C-2 Rotary Mower indicate that it is for the Standard Cub and not a Lo-Boy or a Numbered Lo-Boy. The Woods 59-LB Rotary Mower would be for the Cub 154 Lo-Boy.

Welcome to the Forum!
As has been mentioned, the particular model Woods mower you have will not mount on a Numbered Series Cub Loboy. The one you have is for a standard Cub.

Thanks, all. I guess I have been had. That is what I get for getting the mower before getting the machine home. Anyone know a good place to get the brackets for mounting this deck on my machine?
Tanks again for the help. It is nice to have such a great resource.

Re: Woods Mower Deck and my 154
Check with WOODS and see if they have the right brackets!---I got a 59 on one of my 185 tractors, and the pulley mounts are still on the 154,-- didnt get mower with it, --just 3-pt hanging on the back!
If you want pics of how mine is mounted on the 185, say so! thanks; sonny

Re: Woods Mower Deck and my 154
Here are a couple pics of the rear mount on my 185!
If you have the fat tires, you will also need some spacers to set back wheels out!---mine are not thick enough,---they need to be an inch at least!--mine are only 5/8" or so,---NOT near enough. mower will rub on the tires
This mount is a direct bolt-up from Woods and has the drawbar tab on it. if you have a lot of time, you could make a homemade rear mount.--the 2 small square standoffs are standard 2" square tubing and the main frame is about 1/4" I think.--the drop bars come down at about 45 degree angle and the push arms straddle them!
My 154 has 3-point hitch and thats a whole different set-up on the drive pulleys on it! thanks;sonny

Re: Woods Mower Deck and my 154
Mine has all the pulleys/brackets/3pt. still hanging on it,---bought it that way, it also has a blade on the front that they "rigged" on it that dont work. I bought the tractor with intentions of putting the motor in my 185 which never got done. Frame on the 154 is broke and I dont have time to take it all apart to weld and re-inforce it with plates.
