farmall model a intake/exhaust flapper settings

Postby warrent2 » Sun Apr 21, 2013 2:08 am

I noticed that the two left my cylinders might not be getting fuel and was wondering if it would have anything to do with any of the three setting that are on the exhaust/intake manifold flapper or what ever it is?

That flapper is for dual fuel use, and is adjusted to warm the intake manifold for burning kerosene, distillate, etc. It will not keep the intake from getting fuel. I suggest checking for a leaking or stuck intake valve on those cylinders.
