Cub Lo Boy 185 goes to auction
I am hoping to make the winning bid this morning. I think the serial number is 2000113U038310X, which would make it a 1975. The S/N is hard to read.
It has newer turf tires, rebuilt carb, 3-pt hitch, PTO, new seat. Needs some work. I will be surprised if they get it running, which could be to my advantage at the auction.
The coil has a busted post. I pulled the distributor cap off and all contacts inside are corroded. Easy fixes (after purchase).
Also needs a new fiberglass grill and steering wheel.

Looks to be in nice shape. Those fiberglass grill surrounds are quite pricey, even busted used ones. I paid $60.00 for a busted one that I repaired. New ones I think are around $4-500.

The grill doesn't appear to be in bad shape in the photo. Fiberglass and should be an easy, inexpensive, repair. Steering wheel depending on damage can be repaired using epoxy.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The tractor didn't sell. The seller had a $2500 reserve on it. He did manage to get it started and the hydraulics and PTO worked.
I'm going to give the seller my card and see if we can make a deal after the auction.
