Duplex Hopper question
Is the duplex hopper on an A the same as a duplex hopper on a cub? Where would I find manual for the drive unit for the duplex hopper on an A? thanks

Re: Duplex Hopper question
The hopper is the same. It was introduced in 1940.
I found this as well. I don't have any information on a model 179 or 180 planter. http://www.amazon.com/International-Farmall-Planter-McCormick-Operators/dp/B007HMTU00

Re: Duplex Hopper question
Are we talking about a straight A or a Super A? If a Super A, I have the parts breakdown for the A-178 and A-180 planters. Whether or not I can put my hands on it is another story but I do have the parts book....

Re: Duplex Hopper question
Thanks guys. I'm helping a buddy out with this. I had given him a pinion gear for the duplex hopper and he said it wouldn't work. Well I went to take a look at it today. Turns out it does work. Apparently he didn't have the hopper fully seated in the base. Thanks!
