The Black one

Postby SONNY » Fri Mar 29, 2013 8:08 pm

Just got the steering gear back together today after working on it all winter! It was a real bear to get into all the parts!--- I think the sector gear is 1 tooth off center, but after test drive, it looks ok!

First start today after 10 year shed rest! --- it wasnt too hard to start, dumped a little new gas in the carb and a gallon in the tank then went for a ride!--- OOOPSS!!! forgot to wear a helment!! LOL--- didnt see any cops, so guess its ok! ---got strange looks from cars on the road!---funny looking Harley-Davidson!!!
Another thing I just found out is that the pto lever forward is 540, BUT pull the lever all the way back and it runs 1,000 rpm

Enjoy the 2 videos of it on You-Tube!! thanks; sonny
