Looks like it has a nice "squat" in the rear. Bet it hugged the road real well on the way home.

Nice haul. Around here the cops would have stopped you thinking it was a load of drugs the way the car is squatting.

It was great to meet and talk with you; Hope to see you at another cub fest soon.

Come on Ron, I only had 2 sickle mowers and some smaller stuff in the trunk of my wifes Lincoln Continental with a canoe on top.

By the way, SHE was not happy. :big smirk: I told her I need to put some stuff in there and needed her car while she went to work. When she got home it was loaded.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission.

I am no longer allowed to put any cub stuff in her car.

I think a whole cub would have weighed less than what I had in there, the car has cargo springs and air bags, it gets 25 MPG and the truck gets 10 MPG, that's ok close to home but the DSCF was 1000 miles each way, big difference in gas $$$$

You are lucky. I hate to think what would have happened to you with all that stuff piled behind you , if you had been involved in an accident. I wouldn't reccommend a station wagon (or SUV/van) as a way to haul that much loose "iron". Using a truck and spending the extra money for gas would have been much safer.
