Well... Even though I was only there for some of the "pre-fest" activities, it sure was good to shake hands with you guys and to experience some good old southern hospitality!

General, I had a blast working on your Cub and was glad to see Raymond do his troubleshooting of the clutch. It is always good when a fellow shakes his head after putting something back together and saying "that isn't working right" and diving back into it again to figure out what the real problem is.

Tim, I hope that your square nose cub's throttle is working smoother and that its stuttering problem was cured...I apologize for not getting that completely cured before it left the shop.

Thanks for letting me spend some quality time with some quality folks!!

Mike

edit to correct an egregious demotion in rank for the General!!

Rosie and I got home just a bit ago. What a great weekend in the south. Roy, Raymond, General Jim, Tim and Billy Ray did an outstanding job making sure everything went right. They even enlisted the help of one of the best CubFest cooks around. Thanks to Louisiana Mike and his helpers we had some great Catfish and ribs. As always, we look forward to next year.

Thanks to all who made our stay an enjoyble one!

We're back to Uncle Bill's house. Plan on stopping to visit with Janet's brother Mike a bit tomorrow on our way home.

We got home about 4 pm. I tried to express my thanks to everyone last night but couldn't get my reply to upload. Thanks to Roy and the crew. Cindy and I had a great time and will look forward to seeing everyone soon.

My thanks to all the hosts for another wonderful Cubfest. Great food and company as always. Can't wait until the next one. My suitcase weighed in at 47 pounds, so it's a good thing I didn't bring home anything else. :D

Spiveys made it home safe around 3:00. Thanks to everyone for helping my wife through her first Cubfest, she actually had a good time at one of my "tractor things"! She even made a statement about going to another one! What have I started?

Many thanks from Candy and me for another great event. Had a nice sunny drive home, unlike the rainstorm we drove through last year.
