I have a big maple tree, in the field, that I've wanted to take down. Multiple trunks, with intertwining branches, making it dangerous, to cut down. This morning, I cut into three of the thickest trunks, "18"+, and hope the storm knocks them over, for me. Ed
If it does not come down, then what? Too risky to approach.
If it doesn't come down, in 60 mph winds, its probably safe enough to approach, on a calm day. I'll snag a rope on it, and use some power assist. (IH 444, not cub) Ed
