3 PT. Conversion
Does anybody have any quick and easy ways to put a 3pt. attachment on a Super C with fast hitch? I would buy the conversion kit, but I don't need the 3pt, I just want it because the neighbor has a bunch of 3pt. hitch stuff. Thanks for any ideas, Jostev. I am new here and these are great friendly forums.

Thanks for the help but maybe has anybody ever took some arms and made a frame and bolted it to the drawbar? Also does anybody know where the top link might go on a super C Thanks again, Jostev

IH made an adapter that went into the FH sockets and came back to form a place for the lower 3 point pins. It also had an arch between the 2 sides that provided a place for a short top link that was part of the adapter. It worked OK for most 3-point equipment. Originals are hard to find. Aftermarket adapters may still be available or you should be able to make something similar. This avoids any need to mess up the hitch as it is currently on the tractor.

Thanks, I have seen those but they run high in price, I have the metal so maybe I will try to make something like you did. Thanks again.

Fabricating Your Own
I recently fabricated my 3rd 3-point hitch. This time it was for a Farmall M. I based it on one of the popular after-market versions. There are several companies that showcase their designs like Worksaver and some even have non-dimensional drawings. I believe YTmag has the SAE dimensions for the 3 point hitch (how far apart, height above ground, ect). Like the commercially available versions, mine are always bolt-on. I take great pains to not permanently modify the original tractor. The M version I just built has good draft control and runs off the belly pump. For safety reasons and others, I wouldn't deviate too far from the 3-point design.
So many tractors, so little time......

yeah, thats kind of what i was looking for except i don't want to remove the belt pulley for the 3rd link, I will see about that, thanks, Jostev.
P.S. Where are you from in NH? I'm from Bethlehem, like to see local people here.
