Hello from KansasHello to all. I recently joined after lurking for a long time. I have a lot of interest in farmalls and grew up around them. I went off the deep end a few years ago and bought a some Green tractors, but I am back with mostly red stuff these days.
I look forward to getting to know everyone. I usually learn something when I visit the site. It's great place to learn.
Re: Hello from KansasWelcome aboard:
This is an excelent site to learn from and also a great group of people to learn to know. If you are able to attend a "fest" that is the best way I know of to meet the people and learn how to repair/ maintain these intresting little tractors. Berlin I seem to know more and more about less and less, soon I'll know everything about nothing !
Re: Hello from KansasWelcome to the Forum. As you may already be aware, there is a Kansas Cubfest that's listed in the "Cubfests and announcements forum". This year it's scheduled for Saturday, May 4th. Pretty close to you in Burlington. Hope you're enjoying your Farmalls.

Re: Hello from KansasWow. Thanks for the cub fest info. Burlington is not far from here at all. I would like more info, as its sounds like a lot of fun. Also a good place to take Dad for an outing. He is into the cubs as well. I will keep that date open and try attend.

I'm sure Ike will post more about it as it gets closer. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: Hello from KansasBrad,
I hope you will be able to come up to Burlington in May. We have a lot of fun. Sometimes, we even stop spreading BS long enough to complete a project. Ike
Re: Hello from KansasThanks for the warm welcome, and the invite to the cub fest. I have it marked on the calander. i am new this. So what do you do at cub fest events? I have been to many shows with Dad but I take it this a littlt different deal. Many times we go togather, as he is geting up in years. He, and I attended the Cubarama a couple years ago. It was a blast, I learned how to work on a cub mag, from a guy putting on a demo. All and all it was a great weekend, and I ended up with my first cub.
Ike, how do I get directions to this event when the time comes?
Re: Hello from KansasBrad, here are some links to a few Cubfests. They should give you a pretty good idea what Cubfests are all about.

Re: Hello from KansasWelcome Hope to see you at the KANSAS Cubfest.
Well there goes all my bargain buys from that part of the state.
Re: Hello from Kansas
Here's the address/map of the Kansas CubFest: http://www.bing.com/maps/#JnE9LjE0NDAlM ... A1OTIxOTM2 Just to the north of the dot, there's a long driveway to the west. Go to the end of the drive and you'll be there. Should be a sign at the driveway entrance on Hwy. 75 as well. Change the "Road View" to either "Aerial" or "Bird's Eye" to get a better feel for what you'll see around that area. Here's a link to BigDog's article on what a Cubfest is all about: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=51111 I'd echo MidMo's comment about attending the NE OK Cubfest when the time comes too! Stanton
