have ya'll seen one of these?
i bought this tractor a while back ,great runner , no smoke ,the transmission is almost silent, and these impliments together. the woods (?) mule drive was made to accept the tool bar . the owner said he got the setup when he bought it , he was not sure if it came from woods or PO modified. the ears on the mule drive that accept the tool bars bar are abot 1/2" thick steel flat bar about 2 1/2" / 3" wide and bent on a very small radius, and very professionaly done . it looks to me to be a very difficult bend for a "home shop" to do. buuuut, then again . its a slick setup , the tool bar is much easier to hook and unhook . since it is shortened, is it now a cub-4 tool bar ? . it digs fine like a uncut one . .....................................coppersmythe..............ps: just curious to see if anyone has seen one before

Interesting set up. Haven't seen that set up before. I have a set of disk like that but I think they are a size larger than a cub, but no bar to put the on with. Anyway, looks interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Re: have ya'll seen one of these?
That's actually a Cub-6 toolbar that has been modified (cut down). The brackets that connect to the finals have also been cut and welded to the mule drive.

Re: have ya'll seen one of these?
they cut off part of the mounting brackets and welded to the muledrive, then cut the tool bar arms a bit shorter. that would be possible for the average bear. coppersmythe.......................they did a durn good job of it .

Good catch, Raymond. The F7 is the Fast Hitch version. Gary Boutwell posted some nice stuff on these building raised beds in black dirt soils.

Re: have ya'll seen one of these?
Definately a modified cub 6 toolbar. I have seen all sorts of modifications to these toolbars down here allowing you to keep the mule drive on. I must admit, this is probably the best mod I have ever seen.
